Twelve Gates President at New York State Interfaith Resolutions
On May 28, 2025, Twelve Gates Foundation founder and president, Dr. Frank Kaufmann, in his capacity of Board Director of the World Yoga Community (WYC) attended sessions in the New York State Assembly, and New York State Senate to be present and honored in the delegation of WYC Founder, Acharya Guru Dileep Kumar Thankapan.
On this day unique resolutions were passed in both the Assembly and the Senate to establish for the State of New York, Yoga Day, and Meditation Day respectively.
On this day Guru Dileepji opened the Assembly session with the blowing of the conch, and a Hindu prayer. The first time for both in New York history.
